HTC Unveils the Colorful HTC One E8 With Dual-SIM Capabilities

HTC One E8

HTC unveiled their flagship device, the HTC One M8, a few weeks back. The device comes with top-of-the-line specifications, as well as a beautiful metal design.

If you’re just a little short on budget, but want to enjoy all the excellent features introduced with the HTC One M8, you may want to take a look at the latest creation of the Taiwanese manufacturer, the HTC One E8.
The device comes with the somewhat similar design, and a polycarbonate body. HTC One E8 rocks a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is similar to the HTC One M8. Under the hood, there’s a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot.
Unfortunately, there’s no Duo camera on the HTC One M8, but many will find the 13MP camera it comes with to be a great performer. On the front-side, there’s a 5MP wide-angle camera to capture excellent selfies. The device also features the same front-facing BoomSound speakers and motion launch gestures, which give users control to shortcuts without turning on their phone. There’s also dual-SIM support for the handset, which is quite popular in emerging markets — we’re guessing it will be released in developing countries at launch since the handset was spotted on HTC’s China website a few days back.
On the software side, the device comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system with Sense 6.0 UI on top of it. HTC mentioned the HTC One E8 will be available in four colors: Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue, and Misty Gray. There’s no word about the availability or pricing of the handset, but we’re pretty sure it will be a lot less than the HTC One M8.
